Implementación de un servidor de autenticación Radius en Quimocom LTDA

Abstract

El constante avance de las herramientas informáticas ha dado posibilidad de aumentar tanto la seguridad como la vulnerabilidad en las comunicaciones lo que compromete a los administradores de sistemas a mejorar continuamente todos sus sistemas. Es por estos motivos que las empresas han optado por implementar los estándares IEEE 802.1X para mejorar sustancialmente la seguridad y junto a este los servidores de autenticación AAA; estándar de los sistemas RADIUS como el sistemas NPS de Microsoft para ambientes configurados con directorio activo con herramientas de control de cuentas, autenticación, autorización y eventos que informan lo que sucede en medio del proceso, este mismo servidor se encarga del monitoreo como de la base de datos con la información de los usuarios registrados y no registrados en el directorio activo. Se hicieron las pruebas y la implementación necesaria para verificar el completo funcionamiento en un escenario WLAN configurando Access Point, el servicio NPS y los usuarios que pertenecen al sistema operativo con sus respectivos perfiles y políticas del sistema.

Tests were made and implementation needed to verify operation on a stage full WLAN Access Point setting, the NPS service and the users that belong to the operating system with their respective profiles and system policies.
