Aporte en el enfoque fisioterapéutico-estético para el manejo de la cicatrización de tejido tegumentario.

Abstract

Una de las áreas de la Fisioterapia, que ha sido poco explorada y se ha dejado a un lado desde la catedra universitaria del programa de fisioterapia es la Estética. En la ciudad Medellín, se puede evidenciar que está área en ocasiones es ejercida por personas que carecen del conocimiento idóneo, haciendo procedimientos riesgosos para la integridad del paciente. El fisioterapeuta es uno de los profesionales que se ha formado académicamente y en su proceso ha obtenido el conocimiento de los efectos fisiológicos, los protocolos, técnicas y/o ejercicios a realizar en pacientes que ha sufrido una lesión en e tejido tegumentario, garantizando un servicio, procedimiento seguro y confiable. Una de las áreas donde el fisioterapeuta puede intervenir es la estética; antes, durante y después de un procedimiento quirúrgico, logrando una recuperación eficiente e integral del paciente; contribuyendo a la funcionalidad y a la inclusión de las actividades básicas cotidianas y actividades de la vida diaria. Esta área está encaminada a solucionar eficazmente el aspecto y la mecánica de la piel que ha sufrido algún tipo de lesión que afecte el tejido tegumentario.

One of the areas of Physiotherapy, which has been little explored and has been left aside from the university chair of the physiotherapy program is Aesthetic. In the city of Medellin, it can be evidenced that this area is sometimes exercised by people who lack the appropriate knowledge, making risky procedures for the integrity of the patient. The physiotherapist is one of the professionals who has been trained academically and in the process has obtained knowledge of the physiological effects, protocols, techniques and / or exercises to be performed in patients who have suffered an injury in the integumentary tissue, guaranteeing a service, safe and reliable procedure. One of the areas where the physiotherapist can intervene is aesthetics; before, during and after a surgical procedure, achieving an efficient and comprehensive recovery of the patient; contributing to the functionality and inclusion of daily basic activities and activities of daily life. This area is aimed at effectively solving the appearance and mechanics of the skin that has suffered some type of injury that affects the integumentary tissue.
