The objective of this article is to carry out a systematic review in which the effectiveness of physiotherapy rehabilitation for the burned patient is analyzed; where also the main causes of burns, the most frequent complications, recorded morbidity and mortality, etc. are observed. To do this, we searched systematically in the literature through four electronic databases such as Elsevier, Pubmed, Proquest and reference lists of relevant studies; the studies were suitable for inclusion if they had a focus on the rehabilitation of burns and no time limitations were applied. As results, valuable information was obtained showing the effects of ultrasound, the most useful physical agent and results, which shows high evidence in favoring the healing process; In addition, published research on the rehabilitation of burned patients is very limited and little is known about current practices. To cover rehabilitation from a physiotherapy treatment in an efficient way, the most important topic should be investigated.
